Truth is rail companies go out of their way to make claiming difficult or to pay derisory amounts.
Unions claim rail companies have trousered £170 million compensation from Network Rail. Pity Metro says passengers are 'failing' to claim.

Good for them. Live music (DJs or piped musak) should be the norm rather than the exception. Good for the music profession, the venues and for wider culture. There’s no good reason why they should even have to apply for permission unless it’s going late. This damaging puritanical streak needs to end. If there are exceptional noise issues arise, they can be dealt with later, and there are laws already there to deal with it.
