Chris has asked Herts Highways to look more closely at the pedestrian phases at the junction of Marlborough Road and Victoria Street and at the junction of Lattimore Road and Victoria Street.

The results are so far inconclusive but there seem to be excessive waiting traffic times on Lattimore Road and Upper Lattimore Road because the lights have been set to favour the bus route: it is possible that this has been overdone.

It also appears that there may be excessive ‘red man’ pedestrian phases at the Marlborough Road junction.
