The county council has yet to paint the agreed yellow lines on the corner of Waverley Road and Palfrey Close due to the continuous presence of parked cars – the same parked cars which are causing a hazard.

Notices have been sent round and cones have been put out – but to no avail. The notices have had no effect (presumably because these are not cars owned by local residents) and the cones are simply moved.

Herts Highways has now asked the police for help in clearing the corners so as to allow the lines to be painted.
