HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN ELSTREE, REDBOURN, SANDRIDGE, ST ALBANS, WHEATHAMPSTEAD, ALDENHAM, LONDON COLNEY AND HARPENDEN

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14[1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-

1. To prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads, except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of roads whilst works are in progress:-

e) that length of Salisbury Avenue, St Albans from its northernmost junction with Beaumont Avenue westwards, southwards and eastwards for its entire length.

f) that length of Eaton Road, St Albans from its junction with Salisbury Avenue westwards to its junction with Woodstock Road South, a distance of approximately 93 metres.

It is anticipated that the temporary traffic management measures will be in place for up to 3 weeks, sometime during the period 1 September 2010 and 28 February 2012, when signs are in place. Alternative signed routes will be provided for traffic whilst the road closures are in place.
