Gombards, Worley Road and Stapley Road are to be ‘microasphalted’ next week ie a new surface is going to be put on top of the existing one.

Readers will recall that we have long complained about these roads – especially Worley Road where the county council botched the repairs 18 months ago.

The roads will thus be closed on Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
