New subsidence in Victoria Street because of utility company trench collapse

Roads newly repaired by Herts Highways are now subsidising because of the collapse of a trench belonging to a utility company.

The dip in the road by the junction with Alma Road has been getting noticeably worse over the past few weeks.

Chris White is urging the county council to recover, if possible, the costs of any remedial works from the company responsible for the collapse.
