There have been serious concerns about the state of the pavements, especially in front of the tennis club.

Chris was out and about last night talking to residents (and also highways officials). It is clear that, at the very least:
– the tree which is aggressively digging up the pavement outside the tennis club needs replacing, possibly with a plane tree to fit in with the rest of the avenue
– the pavements outside number 53 need relaying

There may well be other problems – please let us know of other stretches which you think are particularly bad and if you have tripped or fallen in recent weeks.
